La confrontation finale est proche. Lloyd et son groupe ont beaucoup appris sur les Elus, et la raison pour laquelle le monde a été séparé en deux. Lloyd en a, par la même occasion, beaucoup appris sur ses propres origines.
L'heure est désormais venu de connaitre les motivations d'Yggdrasil, Yuan et Kratos, ainsi que leur passés respectifs.
Dans le même temps, Zélos affrontera ses propres démons, et ce, juste avant un combat final où se joue le sort du monde, mais aussi les espoirs d'une jeune fille, et le salut d'une âme.
